Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius and lightly grease a cake doughnut pan to make 12 doughnut molds (I used Wilton)
- In a small bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
- In a medium bowl, whisk to combine eggs, sugars, milk, sour cream, butter, vegetable oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and fold until just combined. Do not overmix! Scrape sides of the bowl if needed.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe into lightly greased baking doughnut pans
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until light and spring back when lightly pressed on
- In a small or medium bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon until there are no clumps of the cinnamon that have not touched any sugar.
- Dip donuts in melted butter to coat the top side and then dip in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. For even more of a crunch dip entire doughnut in butter and transfer cinnamon sugar mixture to a ziplock bag and shake it gently to completely cover it
- Enjoy!
